Overview

Nelson Mullins is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in the New York office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic team in a growing location.

A Day in the Life

The lawyers in the New York office practice within the Corporate Group’s capital markets, private equity, securities, real estate, lending, project finance, investment management, energy, mergers and acquisitions, banking and general corporate practice areas, as well as general litigation, white collar defense & government investigations, and labor and employment. The office, located at 330 Madison Avenue, is just a few blocks from Grand Central, the busiest train station in the country, and is also close to many of the city’s thriving arts, fashion, and entertainment venues.

We Know You

You have 3 to 7 years of meaningful complex litigation experience, with prior experience in asbestos litigation preferred. You are prepared to take and defend depositions, and have prior experience in drafting dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management and are ready to take the lead. You are admitted in Good Standing to practice in the state of New York. Admittance to New Jersey is a plus.
