Are you looking to join a tenured team at an AmLaw100 firm? Nelson Mullins is seeking a midlevel associate to join its Corporate group in its Chicago office.

A Day in the Life

Situated in the heart of the Windy City, our Chicago office provides a veteran litigation team focused on commercial litigation, product liability, securities, trade secret and bankruptcy matters. The team also offers clients a strong presence in the energy, aerospace, automobile and life science industries.

We Know You

You possess 2 to 5 years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm settingemerging company and venture capital experience is strongly preferred. You are knowledgeable in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. With strong writing, analytical, and communications skills, you have excelled academically. You are admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois bar.

 

  • At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
    • In Illinois, the salary/wage range is $215,000 - $270,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
