Overview

Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Litigation Associate to its South Florida Commercial Litigation group in the Fort Lauderdale office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic office.

A Day in the Life

Utilizing your experience in litigation and insurance defense litigation, you will join a tenured team that litigates complex business cases and represents various corporate entities. A friendly, collegial, and professional office, our Fort Lauderdale lawyers practice in areas ranging from healthcare, litigation, white collar defense, bankruptcy, and more. Deeply rooted in the community, the Fort Lauderdale office opened in 1987, and our attorneys are involved in a number of organizations in Broward County that help shape the local landscape. We Know You

You have 3 to 6 years of meaningful commercial litigation experience, and you feel confident in your abilities to usher a successful client experience. You enjoy legal research and persuasive writing. You are well-versed in taking and defending depositions. Preferably, you have experience in insurance defense litigation, professional liability, D&O, and/or Employment matters. You pride yourself on your written and oral advocacy skills and are admitted, and in good standing, to the Florida Bar.
