This position is ideally for our Atlanta, GA, or Columbia, SC, offices but can be open to any city where Nelson Mullins has an office for the right candidate. Experienced in qualified retirement plans, health and welfare arrangements, executive compensation, M&A and related transactional work, you will spend your days working with your team to provide a practical approach to help clients stay in compliance with the ever-changing rules. You’ll be adding to our growth and joining an outgoing and fast-paced team.

You have 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits, ERISA and executive compensation. You are able to work independently in a fast-paced practice and feel confident with a broad range of topics, including qualified retirement plans, health and welfare arrangements, and executive compensation compliance, M&A and related transactional work. With strong writing, analytical, and communications skills, you are capable of problem-solving and producing work-product that is practical and easily understood. You have excellent academic credentials and preferably an LL.M. in Tax or Benefits, Employee Benefits Certification or other benefits-related experience. You are also admitted to and in good standing to the Bar in Georgia, South Carolina, or in a state where Nelson Mullins has an office for the ideal candidate.
