As part of our patent litigation group, you will join a talented team of patent attorneys with scientific, technical, and engineering backgrounds. Your days will be spent working closely with team attorneys and staff members representing clients in diverse fields. As a strong team player, you will fit right in with our collegial and intellectually engaging work environment in our office which is located in Heritage Plaza in downtown Houston.

You have 7-15 years of experience in all aspects of patent litigation, experience taking primary responsibility over various aspects of a patent infringement case, including general discovery practice and first chair deposition experience. Trial experience desired but not required. You possess a scientific or technical background such as a mechanical, electrical, chemical, computer science degree, or engineering degree, or relevant practical experience. Ideally, you are admitted to and in good standing in Texas, but this is also open to candidates admitted to a state Bar where Nelson Mullins has an office. Being admitted to the USPTO is a plus but not required.
