Overview

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 law firm, is actively seeking a highly skilled E-Discovery Review Manager, an expert in both legal procedures and technology, to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential to the firm's success and involves the management and execution of large-scale document review projects.

 

We are open to considering a hybrid or remote work arrangement for candidates who demonstrate strong qualifications and relevant experience.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you'll act as the central point of contact and liaison, ensuring seamless communication among the management team, QC team, and first-level reviewers to meet all project specifications. You'll proactively monitor team activities, provide daily status reports, and lead briefings to address and resolve any emergent issues, maintaining project momentum. A significant aspect of your work involves acting as the primary funnel for all case-related data, meticulously extracting legally relevant information from vast electronic datasets. You will be responsible for preparing crucial project documentation, including specifications and review manuals, to guide the team's efforts. A key part of your legal duty involves performing final quality checks on all production sets before their delivery to the client, guaranteeing the highest level of accuracy and legal defensibility.

We Know You

The ideal candidate for this position possesses a Juris Doctorate and a strong understanding of legal procedures and e-discovery workflows. You have a solid grasp of litigation technology and are able to resolve complex issues related to large-scale document review projects independently. You are a meticulous problem-solver with a strong sense of accountability, capable of providing guidance and feedback to a diverse team of reviewers.

 

 

  • At least 5-8 years of working knowledge of key e-discovery applications, databases, and programs such as Relativity, ClarVergence, Concordance, Summation, Catalyst, and Clearwell.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate the quality of production sets through complex queries, metrics, and other tools.
