Overview

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 law firm, is actively seeking a passionate Technology Coach to join our dynamic and supportive team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to empower our employees by helping them develop the technological skills they need to thrive, playing a critical part in shaping a tech-savvy and successful workforce.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you'll provide comprehensive training for new and existing employees, ensuring they acquire essential technological skills. You will also develop curriculum outlines, e-learning modules, and instructor notes to support training initiatives. Expect to prepare virtual learning environments ahead of training sessions to optimize learning experiences and conduct training evaluations to assess their effectiveness. You will maintain proficiency in a wide range of legal-specific software, including NetDocs, Litera, VisionSQL/Compulaw, and iTimeKeep, as well as the firm's new client/matter intake process. Additionally, you'll stay updated on the latest Microsoft Office suite developments and possess a general understanding of CoPilot, teaching relevant skills to staff. Expect to address and resolve document and user issues escalated from the Help Desk, and collaborate effectively with a diverse group of timekeepers, supervisors, and staff on both day-to-day needs and special projects.

We Know You

The ideal candidate for this position possesses well-developed problem-solving and communication skills. You have a solid understanding of IT department practices, procedures, and systems, and you're able to resolve complex issues independently. You’re a quick learner with a strong sense of accountability, able to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

  • Preferred experience as a facilitator in a corporate training or learning and development environment.
  • A specialized certification in relevant technologies is advantageous.

At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.

  • Salary/Wage Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for merit-based raises and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time
