General Litigation Associate

Nelson Mullins law firm is looking to add a General Litigation Associate to its team in the Los Angeles office. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding practice that offers a range of litigation services to clients in a variety of industries.

You’ll be joining an outgoing and fast paced team that handles all aspects of litigation. Many of the attorneys have worked in-house for major motor vehicle manufacturers and they draw on the resources of the Firm to provide national and international clients counsel in areas including employment, environmental, intellectual property, and technology matters. Our LA office is positioned twenty minutes from downtown Los Angeles and twenty minutes from Redondo Beach. We are seeking a litigation associate with 3 to 5 years of meaningful, hands-on experience in general litigation. The ideal candidate will have a background in products liability and a strong track record in California state and federal courts. Responsibilities include drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, handling hearings, and preparing cases for trial. Candidates should demonstrate initiative in case strategy and be comfortable taking ownership of matters in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills and strong academic credentials are essential. Admission to the California Bar in good standing is required.

Pursuant to the salary transparency provisions of the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, please find the compensation range specific to this role if based in the state California:

• Los Angeles, California pay range for this role, with final offer amount depending on experience is $205,000 - $235,000.
