Nelson Mullins an AmLaw 60 firm is actively seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with specialized experience in title and survey review to join our dynamic team. This role is centered in our commercial real estate practice, where you will play a critical role in shaping communities across the country. A Day in the Life

As a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, you'll primarily be responsible for conducting detailed reviews and analysis of title documents and surveys, identifying potential issues, and preparing necessary objections and responses. This will involve close collaboration with title companies and surveyors to resolve discrepancies and ensure clear property titles. You'll also provide comprehensive support across all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including due diligence, financing, and closing, which often entails managing organizational structuring and drafting related documents. Expect to manage multiple deals simultaneously, maintaining checklists, tracking critical deadlines, and ensuring smooth communication with all involved parties, from clients and lenders to government agencies. A significant part of your role will involve drafting and reviewing various legal and financial documents, alongside maintaining comprehensive records within our case management systems for all client and transaction-related materials.

We Know You

The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of specialized experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, with a particularly strong background in title and survey matters. This individual will be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and adept with document management systems like NetDocuments and Collaborate. The ideal candidate possesses a proven ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, meet tight deadlines, and proactively resolve issues, always demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail. We're seeking a self-starter who exhibits strong accountability and a deep commitment to delivering quality client service. Furthermore, the ideal candidate excels in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively and collaborating seamlessly across departments

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate Degree, or Paralegal Certification Required
