Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation group in the Washington, DC office. This will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a thriving practice.

You will be joining a highly skilled team of attorneys with substantial courtroom experience at both the state and federal levels. They practice in a variety of areas, including class actions/mass torts, data breach and privacy litigation, appellate, chemical exposure/toxic torts, product liability, and commercial litigation.

You have 2 to 3 years of meaningful experience in data breach and privacy litigation, class actions, or other commercial litigation. You are well-versed in helping prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions. A strong writing expertise is essential for drafting appellate, dispositive, and discovery briefs.
You are a strong communicator with outstanding written and oral advocacy skills. Experience with appellate matters, class actions, and privacy and/or data breach litigation is preferred. Experience defending privacy issues is a plus. Excellent academic credentials are also required.
