Overview

Nelson Mullins, a national AmLaw 60 law firm, is hiring a Receptionist in our Huntington office! The Receptionist serves as the face and voice of NMRS, providing a professional and welcoming presence for both internal and external customers. This role is responsible for managing the reception area, overseeing conference room scheduling and logistics, and supporting various administrative and security functions.

A Day in the Life

The Receptionist is responsible for managing the office’s main telephone/switchboard system, greeting and directing visitors with warmth and professionalism. This role involves guiding and assisting internal and external customers to ensure a positive and efficient experience. The coordinator oversees the conference room management system, coordinating meetings and adjusting room inventory to meet event needs. Additionally, they direct operational resources to facilitate successful firm meetings and events, including managing and supporting invoicing processes. The role also includes managing visitor and firm security systems, such as visitor announcements, key cards, parking validations, and accommodations for visiting attorneys. Furthermore, the coordinator responds to and coordinates AV-IT requirements and issues during conference meetings. Other building liaison responsibilities may be performed as needed. Lastly, this role will require the need to bend, lift and carry equipment, or items that could weigh up to 50 pounds.

We Know You

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. They should be proficient in managing scheduling and event coordination systems and have experience with security and visitor management systems along with a proficiency in Microsoft suite. Additionally, the ability to handle technical issues related to AV and IT is essential.
