Nelson Mullins is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our Boston office to assist attorneys with commercial litigation and complex business litigation matters. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor on challenging, high-profile cases in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will bring at least six years of law firm experience handling litigation matters from start to finish, with a strong understanding of the litigation life cycle and the pivotal role a paralegal play in that process. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on high-stakes commercial and business litigation cases, contributing meaningfully to all phases of case preparation and strategy.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing case calendars, monitoring court deadlines, and taking ownership of key administrative and substantive tasks. You’ll handle electronic filings through ECF and local state court systems, conduct online legal research using PACER and Westlaw, and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and motions under attorney supervision. Your proactive approach to case management and your ability to move tasks forward with minimal oversight will be key to your success.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You should have strong organizational and critical thinking skills, a solid grasp of Microsoft Office and eDiscovery tools, and the confidence to embrace new technologies with ease. A 2- or 4-year degree and a paralegal certificate are preferred, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is essential.
If you’re a team player who takes ownership of your work, anticipates needs, and consistently delivers high-quality results, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the position.
At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
