Nelson Mullins is in search of a Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate to join its Corporate group in the Baltimore, Maryland office. This is an opportunity for an associate to join an expanding and fast-paced practice that offers a range of corporate services to a variety of clients.

We are seeking a skilled mid-level associate with 3 to 5 years of meaningful experience in the area of government contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on federal and state bid protests, including GAO, COFC, and agency-level forums, claims experience under the Contract Disputes Act, and counseling matters under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other agency supplements. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in all phases of protests, claims and other government-related litigation, as well as advising contractors on government compliance matters. Experience with US Government grants and cooperative agreements also would be preferred. Candidates must possess excellent writing and analytical skills and be a member in Good Standing with either the Maryland or DC Bar.
