The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting HR operations and ensuring a seamless employee experience. This position works closely with multiple departments within the firm, performing HR-related duties with a strong emphasis on customer service, compliance, and reporting. Responsibilities include facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, managing employee status changes, creating and maintaining accurate employee profiles, and responding to employment verification requests. Additionally, the HR Assistant ensures compliance with company policies and reporting requirements while utilizing HR systems such as Dayforce, NetDocs, and Microsoft Office to manage employee data efficiently. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position, making it ideal for a service-oriented professional looking to contribute to a dynamic HR team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources administration, with a background in a law firm environment preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for success in this role. This position requires a high level of professionalism and discretion, as it involves interacting with internal and external contacts at all levels while handling sensitive and confidential information.
