Overview

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is excited to announce the start of the 2025 Pipeline Outreach Program Internship application process. This internship opportunity is open to all students who participated in the 2024/2025 Pipeline Outreach Program at Claflin University, Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina A&T State University, and North Carolina Central University.

 

The Pipeline Outreach Program is an initiative to increase broad awareness among law students about the legal profession. Our focus is to increase access to law and the legal profession to promote inclusion and opportunity.

A Day in the Life

Summer Internship Program: Interns will have an opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge of the legal services industry while conducting research, providing administrative support, and attending court hearings, depositions, or trials as schedules permit. Interns selected for the internship will be matched with a Nelson Mullins attorney who will serve as a mentor during the program. Internship to run from June 30 to August 8.  

We Know You

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate students who participated in the 2024/2025 Pipeline Outreach Program at Claflin University, Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina A&T State University, and North Carolina Central University.
  • GPA requirement: 3.0 or greater
  • Desire to learn more about the legal services industry

Application Process: Nelson Mullins will accept applications from March 13, 2025, until 5:00 pm on April 20, 2025. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
