Nelson Mullins is growing rapidly and so is our Accounting Department. The Accounting team is looking to add a Billing Assistant to its expanding team.
The Accounting Department handles the needs of our 30+ law offices across the country. You’ll join a supportive team that values communication, accuracy, and a commitment to client satisfaction. Our collaborative Accounting Department provides crucial support to our law offices nationwide. In this multifaceted role, you'll manage a busy inbox, and coordinate billing needs. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the Business Intake and Billing teams by reviewing new incoming client and matter forms that will be imported into the accounting system. You will also assist with new matter status inquiries. Responsibilities for this role will also involve extending support to the Billing team by posting approved invoices and facilitating client communication.
You know how to utilize your billing experience to help the team successfully reach the finish line. You're proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and have strong written and communication skills. You’re a multitasking master, who puts customer service above all else and understands that organization, an extreme attention to detail and professionalism are the keys to success. You’re a team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Having prior law firm billing experience is a BIG plus! You will have the opportunity for overtime as needed.
