Corporate Analyst

Are you a recent graduate from an accredited 4-year college or university who is considering law school?  Do you want to learn more about the legal profession and have an interest in working for 2 years prior to pursuing further education?  Then look no further, as the Atlanta Office of Nelson Mullins, a national, AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking qualified applicants for a Corporate Analyst position working directly with attorneys in the Venture Capital and Technology Practice team.

Working with a collaborative team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: assisting team leaders with client and workflow management; basic document drafting and preparation; assisting attorneys with corporate compliance at the local, state, and federal level; researching corporate records in a variety of jurisdictions, conducting legal research as necessary, and analyzing market data; handling administrative duties to support the legal team in its day to day activities in a wide variety of legal areas; and effectively communicating with clients and attorneys at all levels.

You have the ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing timeframes.   Your proficiency in prioritizing, managing tasks, and handling a variety of demands is matched by your ability to problem solve and communicate with all levels of personnel and to document and present information to attorneys.  You are highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to work overtime to accommodate projects as needed

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education or experience in business is a plus
