A Day in the Life

As a corporate analyst for the attorneys of the CPE Team, you will have a front seat in the exciting world of M&A law. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: assisting team leaders with client and workflow management; basic document drafting and preparation; assisting attorneys with corporate compliance at the local, state, and federal level; assist with legal diligence process; researching corporate records in a variety of jurisdictions, conducting legal research as necessary, analyzing market data and handling administrative duties to support the legal team in its day to day activities in a wide variety of legal areas. As you become more comfortable with the foregoing responsibilities, the team will entrust you with more client-facing work and more rigorous and/or time-sensitive projects.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work overtime to accommodate projects as needed. Be self-motivated and proactive. Possess the ability to prioritize workload and manage your time well. Operate with an analytical mind and a curiosity for transactional law. Superb attention to detail. A strong sense of professionalism. Graduate from an accredited 4-year university. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Having experience in the legal or business field is a plus!
