Overview

Nelson Mullins seeks an experienced HRIS Analyst to join its growing team in Columbia, SC. 

A Day in the Life

The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for managing the technological aspects of recordkeeping, database management, and auditing human resources data to preserve its integrity and accuracy. This role will require excellent troubleshooting skills to provide technical support in researching and resolving HRMS problems and support HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

 

The HRIS Analyst will conduct audits of human resources data for accuracy and integrity.  Developing and responsibility for standard and ad hoc reports will be a major function of this role. This position will play an active role in researching and developing resolutions to problems or flaws in processes.

 

May also be responsible for special projects and providing support to members of the management team. Contact with a diverse group of timekeepers, supervisors, co-workers, and other staff members is common in the role over the phone, e-mail and in person. Knowledge of Firm's policies and practices is necessary. Knowledge in applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to interpret and apply, in addition knowledge of the Firm's technology is necessary to successfully complete most responsibilities.

We Know You

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel. Prefer Excel certification. This role will require strong organization skills, high attention to detail and be able to solve problems and change priorities on a moment's notice. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or other HR software would be a big plus.
