Overview

Nelson Mullins is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead our security team and oversee the User Administration Group. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.

 

A Day in the Life

  • Oversee and manage the User Administration Group, including access management, user account creation and deletion, and password resets
  • Develop and implement security procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Lead incident response and investigation activities, including the identification, containment, and recovery from security incidents
  • Manage and coordinate the development and delivery of security awareness training and education programs for all employees
  • Participate in security audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to implement security controls and ensure the security of new systems and applications, including those utilizing Azure and Office 365
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, regulators, and third-party service providers

We Know You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or commensurate GIAC certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
  • Experience with User Administration, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Identity Federation
  • Experience with Azure and Office 365 as required knowledge and experience
  • Experience in SOC 2 compliance and other relevant standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
