The Charleston, South Carolina office of Nelson Mullins seeks a Commercial Real Estate Administrative Assistant with 5+ years of experience including knowledge of closing documents, title insurance policies and other real estate related documents and information. This position requires knowledge of all aspects of real estate closings.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with commercial real estate transactions, reviewing title work and preparing title insurance commitments and policies, coordinating due diligence activities, reviewing and preparation of sale, purchase and loan documents, researching corporate and UCC filings, preparing closing checklists and scheduling transaction progress, general internet research, completing post-closing items, and overall support to real estate/lending/land use group. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial real estate experience, knowledge of all aspects of real estate closings to include title insurance. In addition, the candidate will have excellent administrative and legal skills, be professional, well organized, a self-starter, detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task in a high activity environment, be able to prioritize assignments, and work well under pressure. We are seeking someone that is able to take direction and work independently.
