    The Columbia, SC office of Nelson Mullins seeks a Trust Accounting Specialist. 

    Responsibilities

    Candidate will handle a high volume of trust deposits, disbursements and reporting across multiple bank accounts in a fast-paced environment.  Candidate will coordinate with bank representatives to establish accounts and monitor trust activity as well as assist General Ledger team with other projects as needed. 

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping experience
    • Four-year degree preferred
    • Professional work ethic
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working effectively with internal professionals and outside bank representatives. 
    • Must work well under pressure
    • Team player with a positive attitude
    • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
    • Law firm experience is preferred.
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft.
