  • Overview

    Columbia office of an Amlaw 100 law firm seeks a Facilities Manager with 10+ years of multiple property management experience to include advanced knowledge of lease management, commercial maintenance and construction, physical security, business continuity, and facilities department leadership.


    Candidates must be comfortable working in a professional services environment, and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, demonstrated written and oral communication skills, strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multi-task multiple projects and assignments, and a balance of strategic thinking with tactical execution.  Candidates should also manage time effectively towards deadlines and work well under pressure.  This position involves overnight travel and requires night-time on-call duty and the ability to work during nonstandard hours when the need arises.


    The Facilities Manager will serve as the point of contact for various contracting crews.


    Other Qualifications 

    • 10 years of commercial facilities management/leasing experience of multiple properties (10 to 50)
    • Experience with budgeting and construction costing
    • Effective negotiation and management skills
    • Knowledge of management business practices
    • Supervisory experience
    • Desire to work collaboratively with others
    • Ability to travel for extended periods of time
    • College degree required
