  • Responsibilities

    The Washington D.C. office of an AmLaw 100 law firm seeks a Corporate Administrative Assistant with 5+ years of experience. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare/revise/finalize documents and other clerical assignments as delegated
    • Maintain attorney calendars; make travel arrangements; process monthly expense reports
    • Run conflict checks, open new client/matter engagements, maintain electronic and paper client files, set-up billing requirements for clients
    • Enter attorney time in time entry system
    • Preparing client invoices
    • Maintain team budgets

    Qualifications

    Must have excellent administrative and legal skills, be professional, well organized, detail-oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills, type a minimum of 60 wpm, strong proofreading skills and be able to prioritize assignments. Must work well in a high pressure environment. Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Windows is also required. Experience with event planning around conferences as well as team meetings is desired.
