  • Responsibilities

    The Columbia office of an AmLaw 100 law firm seeks a full-time Recruiting Coordinator with 2-4 years of experience to be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods for positions throughout the law firm. Previous recruiting and/or HR experience helpful, but not required.

     

    Ideal candidates will have experience partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, creating and managing candidate pipelines and assessing candidate qualifications, serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, reviewing and prioritizing candidate activity including pre-screens and interviews, and, negotiating and closing candidates with offers and start dates. 

    Qualifications

    • BA in related field and 2-4 years of experience working as a recruiter
    • Experience in recruiting processes (i.e. sourcing, qualification, and placement process)
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
    • Solutions oriented and a team player
    • Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills
    • Defined experience deploying a social media strategy in your recruiting: Twitter, LinkedIn
    • Experience with iCIMS – Talent Acquisition platform a plus
