     An AmLaw 100 law firm seeks a Marketing Coordinator with 2-5 years of experience to work in one of our following locations: Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA; or, Charlotte, NC.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Marketing Coordinator will oversee the development, editing and placement of firm directories and ranking submissions.

    Typical responsibilities include:  

    • Overseeing the development, editing and placement of firm directories and ranking submissions
    • Work with the public relations firm
    • Create and distribute press releases for firm wide award recognitions
    • Assume other day-to-day marketing responsibilities firm-wide and locally as needed

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline
    • Outstanding editing and writing skills with a minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant writing experience, in a journalism or professional services organization
    • Ability to interview lawyers to gain required information for submissions, as well as ability to research business and professional publications for critical information and data necessary to enhance award nominations and directory submissions
    • Familiarity of the legal media and legal directories (Chambers) environment
    • Experience in a law firm strongly preferred
    • Proficiency with Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
    • Ability to work independently and to coordinate directly with team members inside and outside the department, including with all levels of the firm and external organizations involved in the rankings and recognitions process
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and approach to internal client service
